Behind Imagine Party Kits: A Labor of Love
For as long as I can remember, my favorite memories as a little girl always come back to the magical birthday parties my mom would throw. Long before the days of Pinterest and Instagram, she would spend days—sometimes weeks—dreaming up ideas, decorating every detail by hand, and baking cakes based on whatever wild challenge I gave her.
And I do mean challenge: I once asked for a cake shaped like a car. Another year it was the Central Perk Mug from Friends, Sunnydale High School from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Titanic, and even the Auckland Sky Tower. No matter how impossible it seemed, she always found a way to make it happen.
Now, as a mother myself, I’ve taken that same spirit and poured it into every celebration I plan for my own kids. One thing has always been certain: I want their birthdays to be unforgettable, magical experiences. Not just a day with cake and balloons, but a full-blown adventure…built just for them.
